Eidos
Interactive has dispatched a stunning new
animation of Lara
Croft from Tomb
Raider Anniversary in footage that is positively
dripping with polygon-rich goodness. Sporting
a new polished facia, our fearless British aristocrat
is looking fantastic as she embarks on a special
commemorative adventure to mark ten years of Tomb
Raider.
Moreover,
we have nineteen
new enemy renders and a special blast
from the past collection which looks back
at the original Core Design adventure for comparison
with today's version. To boot, we have two more
stunning
soundtracks from the game, composed by Troels
Folmann.
Tomb
Raider Anniversary will be released in May 2007
on Sony Playstation 2, Sony Playstation Portable
and Windows PC. An announcement is expected later
this year on the status of Tomb Raider 8 as Crystal
Dynamics continues to rejuvenate the Tomb
Raider brand.
