Friday goodness has landed in the form of a spanking new collection of screenshots showcasing Tomb Raider Anniversary and a stunning new polygon-dripping render of Lara Croft. Previously print exclusive, our scorching new render is now online for your visual delectation.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a special celebratory adventure currently being developed by acclaimed studio Crystal Dynamics. According to Eidos, the game will be released in April 2007 for Sony PS2, Playstation Portable and PC.

Using an enhanced Tomb Raider Legend game engine, the graphics, technology, physics and engine bring Lara Croft's adventure and pursuit of a mystical artefact known only as the Scion right up to today's technology standards and will offer gamers a completely new gameplay experience.
