Gavin
Rummery, studio manager of former Tomb
Raider caretakers Core Design, has given a
candid interview to Edge magazine on the debacle
surrounding the release of The
Angel Of Darkness, the departure of Jeremy
Heath-Smith and the subsequent loss of Lara
Croft to U.S. developer Crystal
Dynamics.
UK studio
Rebellion recently confirmed the purchase of Core
Design from owners Eidos
following a year-long negotiation. Although Eidos
will retain the Core Design name, the studio,
its assets and workforce have begun trading under
Rebellion (Derby) Ltd brand.
