Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie has been inked in to star in the upcoming romantic comedy "Life, or Something Like It" which begins shooting in April with "Rock Star" Director Stephen Herek helming the New Regency Production.

Fresh from the boots of action adventurer Lara Croft, Angelina Jolie will assume the identity of a female reporter who learns from a homeless prophet she has only seven days to live. Written by John Scott Shepherd, "Life," will be distributed by 20th Century Fox who have an equitable interest in New Regency, exclusively distributing their movies. Angelina Jolie is soon to appear in MGM's "Original Sin", co starring Antonio Banderas which premiers next month before Tomb Raider fans across the globe watch her don hot-pants and pistols in Paramount Pictures silver screen adaptation of "Tomb Raider" which debuts on June 15th.
