SCi Entertainment Group has today announced that its registered office has been changed to Wimbledon Bridge House, London SW19, former residence of Eidos plc - the troubled UK publisher bought out by SCi earlier this year following a hotly contested bidding war with U.S. equity firm Elevation Partners.

SCi also announced it had received notification on 23 September 2005 that Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Ltd - an equity brokerage subsidiary of the Calyon group - now had an interest in 10,076,548 ordinary shares representing 14.0% of the issued share capital of the Company, up from 11.4% as of September 19th 2005.

French video-game publisher Ubisoft - who announced the extension of an equity swap contract with Calyon in January 2005 - has been linked to SCi in a manoeuvre the company said could be part of its defence options against a potential takeover by Electronics Arts.
