Scott Dodkins has been tapped to head Eidos' European operations, according to trade paper MCV. Eidos' European arm was formally known as SCi Entertainment Group, but opted to operate under the Eidos label after acquiring the struggling company in mid-May.

Effective immediately, Dodkins is charged with the management of all European territories, as well as Japan and Australia, Game Daily notes during its morning consolidation of movers and shakers.

Dodkins comes to Eidos from Activision, where he had spent the last five years managing the company's European publishing business. He has also been chairman of ELSPA for the past two years.
