A series
of bomb attacks on major transport arteries across
London has crippled the Capital. More than 30
people are reported dead, and 200 have been treated
for injuries sustained in the attacks. British
Prime Minister Tony Blair has left the G8 summit
at Gleneagles to return to London.
According
to BBC, seven people died in a blast on a train
100 yards from Liverpool Street station at 0851
GMT. Five minutes later 21 people died in a blast
on a train between Russell Square and King's Cross
stations. At 0917 GMT five people died in a blast
on a train at Edgware Road station and an unknown
number of casualties have died in a blast on a
bus at Tavistock Place.
