Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will use Sir Bob Geldof's Live 8 concert as a vehicle to reveal their secret romance, claims UK tabloid The Mirror. "They have gone to great lengths to keep their love under wraps so far. Now both feel the historic event is the perfect place to officially introduce their relationship to the world." a source told The Mirror.

Brad Pitt recently split from Friends star Jennifer Anniston after claims the actor had an affair with Tomb Raider star Jolie. Both parties initially denied reports of a romance, although recent photographs taken of the pair on holiday and at Jolie's mansion suggest otherwise.

Misusing Geldof's Live 8 concert as a platform to announce the couple are an item is sure to provoke public commendation and directly contradict Jolie's UN ambassadorial work on behalf of refugees across the world.

Live 8 is a series of musical extravaganzas across the world aimed at raising awareness of the plight of those starving in third world countries and to lobby G8 leaders into taking action by introducing aid relief and writing off debt. For more information on this global issue, visit
