Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has been voted 'World's Sexiest Woman' by Harpers & Queen. The Tomb Raider star held off stiff competition from Star Wars actress Natalie Portman and The Island's Scarlett Johansson to tap pole position for the second year running.

The annual Harpers & Queen magazine list was compiled by 1,000 experts from the world of fashion, arts and the media. Christy Turlington, Rania of Jordan, Sofia Coppola and Nigella Lawson round out the top five.

Jolie, currently in Kenya to help set up a United Nations poverty-eradication project, will next been seen opposite Brad Pitt in Doug Liman's Mr & Mrs Smith. Pic follows the exploits of a bored married couple surprised to learn that they are assassins hired to kill each other.
