UNHCR
has released a new collection of Ultra HQ pictures
of Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie attending
Washington, DC as part of her advocacy of refugee
children who come to the United States seeking
safety. Jolie, an ambassador for the High Commission
for Refugees, is eager to help youngsters and
families from regions ravaged by war or deprivation.
Speaking
on the recent tsunami that caused widespread destruction
across Asia, Jolie said: "If there's been one
positive thing to come out of the immense tragedy
of the tsunami, it is the amazing response by
people and organizations across the world."
Angelina Jolie has worked for refugees over the
past four years in Asia, Africa, the Americas
