[ February 22nd 2005 ]

Gizmondo Europe Ltd, subsidiary of Jacksonville, Florida-based Tiger Telematics Inc. (other OTC, TGTL), confirmed today that it will be a sponsor of the forthcoming MCV Industry Awards, which recognizes the achievements and successes of the last 12 months in the interactive entertainment industry.

The annual event held this year on 7th April by the UK's leading trade publication, MCV, and attended by games publishers, retailers, and industry marketers, is regarded as one of the premiere events in the industry's calendar. Included in the sponsorship package is a dedicated area to showcase the Gizmondo and profile some of the fantastic features of the new handheld to attendees.

Stuart Dinsey, Publisher, MCV, says: "Now in its third year, the MCV Awards has established itself not only as a key date in the games market's calendar, but also as an event with profile and credibility throughout all sectors of the industry. We're extremely glad that the Gizmondo team has recognised this through its decision to become the Platinum sponsor of this year's MCV Awards. And we look forward to providing the Gizmondo brand with a terrific platform throughout the build-up to April 7th, on the night itself, and in the aftermath."

Carl Freer, managing director of Gizmondo, says: "We're delighted to be taking part in this prestigious industry event. It's an ideal platform for us to showcase the Gizmondo as a significant player in gaming and mobile entertainment. " Peter Malmstrom, marketing director, Gizmondo Europe, added: "Having chosen the UK from which to launch the Gizmondo, it's important for us to be a part of this event and show our commitment to the industry as a whole."

The Gizmondo is powered by Microsoft Windows CE advanced real-time operating system, boasting a 2.8-inch TFT colour screen with a Samsung ARM9 400Mhz processor and incorporates the GoForce 3D 4500 NVIDIA graphics accelerator. It provides cutting-edge gaming, multimedia messaging, an MP3 music player, Mpeg4 movie playing capability, a digital camera and a GPRS network link to allow wide-area network gaming. Additionally, it contains a GPS chip for location-based services, is equipped with Bluetooth for use in multi-player gaming and accepts SD and MMC card accessories.

The Gizmondo device and its games are currently launching in the U.K, and in North American and Continental Europe markets starting Spring 2005.
