SWANK NUDGES JOLIE TO POLE POSITION

[ 14 February 2005 ]

Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) has nudged aside former Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie to scoop the jackpot on IMDb's STARmeter. For the third consecutive week, Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) can't quite muster enough puff for pole position with Johnny Depp (Finding Neverland), Rachel Hunter (former spouse of rock star Rod Stewart) and Angelina Jolie (Mr Mrs Smith) rounding out the top five.

IMDb STARmeter rankings provide a snapshot of who's popular based on the searches of millions of IMDb users. Updated weekly, these rankings also graph the popularity of people over time and determine which events affect public awareness. Swank was named Best Actress by the Screen Actors Guild for her performance in Clint Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby.
