Universal Pictures has tapped Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie to co-star opposite Matt Damon in the Robert De Niro-helmed pic The Good Shepherd, which begins production 7 March, 2005. Movie depicts the history of over 40 years in the CIA, told through the eyes of James Wilson (De Niro), one of its founding officers.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider star Jolie, who recently concluded filming Fox's Mr. and Mrs. Smith opposite Golden Globe winner Brad Pitt, will play Damon's long-term suffering wife. Pic will debut 10 November 2005.
