Ian Fleming could never have imagined that his secret agent James Bond might one day be played by a female lead, but that's an option being presented to studio bosses, with interest put forward from Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie.

Catherine Zeta Douglas has also expressed an interested in playing the first female 007, but although negotiating a screen test for a part in the 20th Bond movie Beyond The Ice, got cold feet because the part was too small, movie insiders said Tuesday.
