Succumbing to her motherly instincts, actress Angelina Jolie recently took some time off her hectic schedule to give company to her son Maddox. According to Hello magazine, the Tomb Raider star, who loves to spend some quality time with her kid, was spotted shopping with him after she wrapped up her work on her latest movie 'Mr and Mrs Smith' opposite Brad Pitt.

Ever since Angelina adopted the Cambodian orphan in 2002, she has earned a reputation of being a devout mother and often brings her little boy along while travelling abroad. "It's an amazing thing to take care of a child and to have a child trust you and love you.That makes me feel like I somehow have a purpose. I didn't know what I would be like as a parent. I've learned that I love being a mom. If he's okay, if he's healthy, nothing else matters to me," Angelina was quoted by the magazine as saying.

She is now reportedly planning to adopt a little brother or sister to give Maddox company.
