MAXON
Computer releases the second generation of the
CINEMA 4D VectorWorks eXchange plugin. The first
version already made the life of architects a
lot easier by allowing a seamless file transfer
from VectorWorks to MAXON's renowned visualization
tool CINEMA 4D. It was already outstanding by
giving users the option of making changes made
to the original CAD project and updating the scene
in CINEMA 4D, even if lighting, animation and
texturing were already underway in the latter.
The new
version continues with even more features and
tools, to make visualizing fast and easy. Symbols
and individual objects can now be exported in
classes. Symbols are imported as CINEMA 4D instances,
providing more flexibility and a better structure
for the architect to visualize his project.
The new
plugin "Material eXchange" speeds up the process
further by allowing the architect to replace hundreds
of standard VectorWorks materials with sophisticated
CINEMA 4D materials with just a mouseclick using
a reference file. Now, a high quality visualization
is a matter of just a few hours instead of days.
Together with the "ArchiTextures" library this
set of tools delivers a perfect base for the convincing
visualization of a VectorWorks project. The eXchange
plugin requires VectorWorks 10 or greater and
CINEMA 4D R8.5 and is available from local MAXON
distributors.
