Infinium
Labs, Inc. has appointed game industry leaders
Kathy Schoback and Wallace Poulter to its management
team in key roles as vice president of content
strategy and director of publisher relations,
respectively. Ms. Schoback comes to Infinium Labs
from Eidos Inc. where she served as director of
product operations. She currently serves as chairperson
on the Board of Directors of the International
Game Developers Association (IGDA).
Mr. Poulter
has served for the past four years as the games
partnership manager at Apple Computer for the
Mac platform. "Kathy and Wallace are great additions
to our management team. They have the talent and
the experience to help guide Infinium Labs to
a successful launch of its Phantom Gaming Service,"
noted Kevin Bachus, president and chief operating
officer at Infinium Labs.
In her
career, Ms. Schoback has been responsible for
business development, licensing, title acquisition,
electronic software distribution, in-game product
placements, budget and performance development,
software releases, royalty billing and audits,
and sales. Ms. Schoback's experience includes
serving at Sega of America as director of external
development and publishing, director of third
party relations, manager of third party relations
and as a sales manager, sales representative and
consumer services trainer. She also served as
national sales manager for the Game Developers
Conference with CMP Media.
Mr. Poulter
brings more than two decades of game development
and game industry experience to Infinium Labs.
Prior to Apple, he served as senior product manager
and senior producer at Atari Game Corp., a consultant
to GTE, producer at Sega of America, and in marketing/game
development roles at LucasArts.
