BILLY BOB THORNTON TEASES MARRIAGE

Hollywood rogue Billy Bob Thornton is teasing pregnant girlfriend, Connie Angland, with a much anticipated marriage proposal. The Sling Blade star, who divorced Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie last year, says he'll wed until he gets it right. "I don't mind getting married as many times as it takes. People kind of ream me every now and then for being married so much, but the fact of the matter is I was trying."

Thornton philosophises: "The way I look at it, they talk about a lot of actors who go out to the nightclubs every night and sort of like screw everything walking. I'm trying to do the right thing." The father-of-three joked about his first encounter with Angland at a recent press launch. "I actually met her through her sister, who was a make-up artist on a movie I did. She came to visit her sister and I said, 'Excuse me, may I have your sister?' You gotta be polite!"
