DJIMON HOUNSOU TO APPEAR IN ABC'S ALIAS

Djimon Hounsou, star of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life and nominated as ShoWest's Supporting actor of the Year for his role opposite Paddy Considine in Jim Sheridan's In America, has been tapped to guest star in ABC's covert thriller Alias to be broadcast Sunday March 28. The 38-year-old Benin, West African born actor will make a special guest cameo appearance as the head of a criminal fraternity during the one hour show.

Show unfolds as follows. Sydney and Vaughn are in hot pursuit of Covenant kingpin Kazari Bomani (Djimon Hounsou) to track down an important piece of the Rambaldi puzzle. Meanwhile, Jack discloses his suspicions to Senator Reed about his daughter Lauren's allegiances, Lauren's mother (Peggy Lipton) is faced with a tragedy, and Vaughn decides the fate of his marriage. A parental rating has not yet been assigned.
