Home Entertainment has announced the release of
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life on
Special Edition DVD and VHS video in the UK and
across Europe. Join Lara as she races through
furious hand to hand battles, blazing shoot outs
and breathtaking sky-diving escapes to try to
save the ancient artefact and mankind's future.
The disc
features a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby
Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Special features include:
Commentary by director Jan De Bont, Seven deleted
scenes and an alternate ending, all with commentary
by Jan De Bont, Five featurettes on the film's
training, weapons and vehicles, visual effects,
stunts and scoring, Music videos by Korn "Did
My Time" and by The Davey Brothers "Heart Go Faster",
Gerard Butler screen test, The original theatrical
website archive accessed via DVD-ROM.

Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life, Pandora's
Box is said to house the most unspeakable evil
ever known, and it is hidden in Africa in an area
known as "The Cradle Of Life." Now, it is up to
Lara Croft to find the infamous box before it
falls into the hands of a maniacal Nobel Prize-winning
scientist (Hinds), who's intent on harnessing
the evil power. Facing her greatest challenges
yet, the intrepid tomb raider travels the world
