According to a report in macHOME magazine, Tomb Raider The Angel Of Darkness could soon explode onto Macintosh platforms via Aspyr Media along with Disney's Tron 2.0 movie. Although no official announcement has been forthcoming on either title from their respective publishers, macHOME reports impending rumblings from the top brass at Aspyr Media very soon concerning a possible Tomb Raider port.

Aspyr Media has been responsible for publishing all Tomb Raider ports to date with Westlake Studio converting the code from PC to MAC. Both recently delivered Tomb Raider Chronicles and the Tomb Raider Level Editor to MAC gamers following a vehement campaign lead by Lara Croft fans eager to see their favourite heroine on the Macintosh operating system.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness is Core Design's sixth and final Tomb Raider episode. Publisher Eidos Interactive Plc earlier this year announced future development of the Tomb Raider franchise would be awarded to U.S. based Crystal Dynamics - famed for the critically acclaimed Soul Reaver series - following a string of delays surrounding the release of The Angel Of Darkness coupled with numerous technical problems on both PC and PS2 platforms.
