EIDOS CONFIRMS EUROPEAN AOD DATES

Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, will release Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness on PlayStation 2 in the UK this Friday, July 4th 2003. The game will be available across the rest of Europe week commencing July 7th 2003. Since Lara made her debut in 1996, the Tomb Raider series has sold more than 28 million units worldwide.

The game is being supported by a massive €6 million pan-European marketing campaign including TV, cinema, print, outdoor and online. The Tomb Raider brand will be further reinforced via key partnerships with Lucozade, Creative Labs and Jeep. Eidos is also planning joint promotions with Paramount Pictures to maximise on the release of the new Tomb Raider film ‘Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life’, which will be released in the UK on 22nd August.
