U.S.
band Korn have recorded a brand new track for
the forthcoming Paramount Pictures action adventure
sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life
starring Oscar winner Angelina Jolie as British
aristocrat Lara Croft. The new track, titled "Did
My Time" will be used in a scene in the movie,
but won't appear on the motion picture soundtrack
album. Radio stations will begin broadcasting
"Did My Time" across the airwaves June 23, ahead
of the official Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle
Of Life launch on July 25th.
Korn
was formed in 1993 when Sex Art's Jonathan Davis
joined forces with LAPD, made of Munky, Fieldy,
David, and Brian. The band is working on the follow-up
to last year's Untouchables and will include "Did
My Time" on their new album. Lara Croft Tomb Raider:
The Cradle Of Life pits adventurer Lara Croft
against new villain Reiss as the pair globetrot
the world in search of a mystical orb called The
Cradle Of Life. The movie also welcomes the return
of Red Dwarf star Chris Barrie as Lara's fussing
butler Hillary.
The original
Tomb Raider motion picture remains the highest
ever grossing picture for a female driven lead
and Paramount Pictures look set to continue the
trend strengthened by market dominant commercial
partners including Jeep Chrysler and Ericsson.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life is
based on Eidos Interactive's best selling videogame
Tomb Raider, developed by Core Design. The cross-platform
blockbuster has sold in access of 30 million units
and remains one of the most potent videogame franchises
to date.
