Check
out BBC2 at 19.10 - 20.10 this Saturday night
for a look into Lara Croft. As part of their series
on modern design, the BBC will be taking a look
at how Lara Croft became a design icon in the
90s. Penelope Keith will commentate on the prolific
rise of Core Design diva Lara Croft, from her
inception into 3-dimensional video-games in 1996
to her silver screen debut in 2001 fleshed out
by Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie.
The rise
of retail giants IKEA, and how James Dyson sold
the nation a vacuum cleaner, will also feature
in the one hour documentary. Designing The Decades
will broadcast on BBC2 at 19.10 on Saturday 5th
