Eidos
Interactive has joined forces with the Government
of Novistrana to offer people the chance to be
included in the forthcoming PC strategy-simulation
game Republic: The Revolution. An exclusive competition
has been set up on the just-launched Novistrana
website www.novistrana.com. Twenty lucky winners
will be featured as 'Novistranian' characters
and will receive a home address for their character.
This
will enable them to identify themselves among
the thousands of inhabitants of Novistrana. 100
runners-up will also have their surnames assigned
to characters in the game. All that's needed to
enter the competition is simply to register on
the site. The closing date for the competition
is April 15th 2003. Winners and runners-up will
be notified by 30th April 2003.
"Novistrana
provides the perfect setting for our ground-breaking
new strategy-simulation title Republic: The Revolution,"
says Kathryn Clements, brand manager at Eidos
Interactive. "We hope that many people will take
advantage of the competition and become a part
of the game itself." "It's wonderful to work with
such a dynamic company like Eidos Interactive,"
says President Karasov of Novistrana. "I'm proud
that Novistrana is the chosen location for the
game and that we can offer this fantastic competition
on our website."
Novistrana.com
is run by a talented selection of top Novistranians
dedicated to producing the best possible site
experience. Within the site there are daily news,
travel guides, info on places of interest and
an introduction to the state itself. The website
also boasts e-stores, postcards and a Novistranian
phrase book.
