Paramount Pictures has confirmed the deployment of a brand new trailer delivered via the internet for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life starring Oscar winner Angelina Jolie as British aristocrat Lara Croft. The 2 minute and thirty second motion picture trailer will make its digital debut on March 26 2003 shown exclusively on Yahoo! Movies, two days ahead of the cinematic broadcast in theatres across the U.S. Fans can also get a first look by watching Entertainment Tonight, Acess Hollywood, E! or EXTRA on Wednesday night.

A reader of AICN recently posted a review of said trailer which read as follows: "The plot looked straight forward enough. Lara is looking for "Pandora's Box" so that some bad guys do not get their hands on it first and mess up the world. Nothing new there. The action looked pretty good. There were some cool shots of Lara firing her trade mark two guns at a car and then running over the top of it. Another shot of her on a motorbike jumping off some ledge out into the air.

"There was one underwater scene with a shark which looked even more fake than the ones in the computer games, but I was told that the effects are still not finished. By far the coolest scene almost at the end of the trailer was Lara and someone else sky diving off a really tall building. [Download footage HERE] Cut in with all this was some shots of various Lara at different exotic locations. There was also a sex scene which may have involved Lara, the scene jumped by very quick!"

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life follows the adventures of British aristocrat Lara Croft sent on a perilous mission to rescue the world from the exploits of an evil Chinese crime syndicate led by oriental crime lord Chen Lo. The movie opens with an explosive underwater action scene involving the struggle for a sacred ancient spear guarded by Chen Lo's evil henchmen followed by a mission to overthrow new villain Reiss from deploying an army of biological drones to wreak havoc on the world. Movie opens July 25, 2003.
