Hollywood
superstar Angelina Jolie has told reporters her
character Lara Croft will be much sexier in Par's
Tomb Raider sequel The Cradle Of Life. "I think
we see more sides to her. This feels more like
a real film than the last one - it's a little
less silly and Lara's more of a woman. The funny
thing is, I realised I was almost doing too much
training the last time. And I was on too many
protein powder things - it made me curvier. This
time I just ate normal food and lots of it: stuff
like beans and eggs on toast. Then I trained as
much as possible. This time Lara's leaner and
stronger, sexier and sharper."
Jolie,
currently in Hong Kong shooting the Jan de Bont
helmed production alongside Gerard Butler, also
claims to perform most of her own stunts. "I have
no fear when it comes to stunts, which is probably
very stupid. I do argue about what I think Lara
would do in certain situations and sometimes there's
a difference of opinion." Jolie continued, referring
to a recent bust-up with director Jan de Bont.
However, the former Oscar-winner said this time
round she would be "slightly more careful" with
her action scenes. "I check safety things a little
bit more than I used to, now that Maddox is here."
The Cradle
Of Life: Tomb Raider 2 has entered the final stages
of filming before post production prepares the
movie for it's July 25th silver screen debut.
Jolie, who recently toured the war-torn region
of Kosovo raising awareness for the United Nations
High Commission for Refugees, returns as fearless
British aristocrat Lara Croft in the second of
three adventures spawned from the successful video-game
series of the same name.
