The undead pharaoh Amenhotep decrees that our Tomb Raider must pay a hideous price for every ancient treasure she's taken from the Hidden Land-by joining him in that crumbling netherworld as his queen. But Lara has her own ideas of justice - one angry Witchblade-wielding friend in the world above. Tomb Raider #27 contains 32 pages and is priced $2.99.

Written by Fiona Avery, penciled by Manny Clark, inked by Marlo Alquiza, colored by Tyson Wengler. Lara's journey to the New Zealand Maori tribe reveals the man who stole the dream spear but more frustrating is that the dream spear appears to be the only way into the Maori Underworld.

The only other way to reach the Underworld is if Lara is given a full-body tattoo that will leave her half in this world and half in the dream world with the danger of being unable to escape should she remain too long in the Maori Underworld. Lara must make her decision to accept the tattoo and take her first steps in her Dreaming journey. Tomb Raider Journeys #9 contains 32 pages and is priced $2.99.
