The production
crew on Paramount Pictures Tomb Raider movie sequel
will relocate to Wan Chai, Mongkok and Hong Kong
next year to shoot several action scenes for The
Cradle Of Life. According to the government's
Film Services Office: "about half of the film
will be shot in the territory. Approximately 50
production people from overseas will be working
closely with a hundred local crew members in the
project."
Angelina
Jolie is currently shooting aquatic scenes and
completing a grueling Jet ski training programme
on the sun-drenched Aegean sea island of Santorini.
Filming will conclude this week at the northern-most
point of the island in the small costal town of
Ia. The auspicious Victoria Harbour will also
play host to the former Oscar winner who dons
hot-pants and pistols for her second foray as
buxom gunslinger Lara Croft.
Lara
Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life chronicles
the adventures of British aristocrat Lara croft
sent on a perilous mission to rescue the world
from the exploits of an evil Chinese crime syndicate
led by oriental crime lord Chen Lo. The movie
opens with an explosive underwater action scene
involving a desperate struggle for a sacred ancient
spear guarded by Chen Lo's evil henchmen and a
mission to overthrow new villain Reiss from deploying
an army of biological drones to wreak havoc on
the world.
