According to a snippet of information from Dark Horizons, here's what we can expect from the upcoming Simon West movie Tomb Raider.

The Tomb Raider movie is going to be more in touch with the game elements (like EXACT sets built from the plans in the game) and set after the 3rd game in the series. Lara's look will be held secretive (like Godzilla, I suppose) until some kind of teaser or preview makes it's way before another Paramount Pictures picture.

She'll be sporting more than just some pistols and a shotgun, with something in the line of the mini-gun similar to that seen in "Predator" & "T2: Judgement Day" with some sort of diamond-powered laser cannon similar to that seen in "Congo".

The final movie rating, although containing some scenes of violence, is expected to be awarded a PG certificate (Parental Guidance)
