HIGH FLYER ON AIR OF CONFIDENCE

As he flew through the air, risking his life over a row of parked cars, you’d be forgiven for thinking The Kangaroo Kid should be taken more seriously than his name suggests. The professional stunt rider, alias Australian Matt Coulter, performed death-defying tricks in Hollywood films Tomb Raider and The Mummy Returns - and was equally spectacular at Stoke Park on Monday.

Although hampered by rain, he was egged on by the crowd, many of whom watched aghast as he jumped four cars on his quad-bike and wheelied around the arena. Unfortunately the cheering masses were later left disappointed when the Kid was forced to go to hospital to deal with an injury he picked up at a show last week.
