Empire Interactive PLC, a AIM listed computer games developer and publisher, said it has signed the publishing rights for Eutechnyx' latest game Big Mutha Truckers for the Sony PlayStation 2 and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft.

Ian Higgins, CEO of Empire said about the acquisition: "We are aiming for a Christmas launch in Europe this year." Empire added that Eutechnyx is a driving game development specialists, having produced racing titles for global publishers including Eidos Interactive, Electronic Arts and Infogrames and worked with brands as Formula One, James Bond 007 and Le Mans 24 Hours.
