SPRING TOUR

Game
Live Events, the country's leading producer of
live video game and PC touring events and expos,
today announced their 2002 Spring Preview Game
Tour. The 12-city tour begins on Friday, April
5th in Jacksonville, FL and ends Sunday, April
28th in Los Angeles, CA.
The tour
will feature this season's most popular and anticipated
video and PC game titles. Many of the tour's featured
titles will be launched during the tour, allowing
audiences to play the games for the first time
ever, including Rayman Arena by Ubi Soft Entertainment
on the PlayStation2; James Bond 007 in...Agent
Under Fire by EA Games on Microsoft's Xbox and
Nintendo GameCube; and Star Wars Jedi Knight II:
Jedi Outcast by LucasArts on the PC.
Featured
publishers include: Electronic Arts, RockStar
Games, Ubi Soft Entertainment, Midway, Eidos Interactive,
LucasArts and Sierra. Other partners include Alienware,
AMD, ATI Technologies, I/O Magic and Klipsch.
GameStop is the National Tour's Official Retailer.
"The tour offers young adults, families and gamers
the unique experience of sampling the best selling
and most highly anticipated game titles and game
systems," said Antonio Capretta, CEO of Game Live
Events. "This is our most extensive tour to date
and will feature the highest quality PC gaming
machines ever assembled for a national tour."
The tour
will make stops in Orlando, Miami, New Jersey,
Philadelphia, Baltimore, Hartford, Boston, New
York, Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles. More
than 30 titles will be displayed on a state-of-the-art,
48-screen Interactive Viewing Screen GamePort
system allowing for maximum exposure of featured
games. Admission is free and play is unlimited.
