|
The Installation program needs to run with Windows 98 Compatibility Layer enabled. After downloading the TR2 Gold Installation program open an explorer and right mouse click on the file. Select one of the Winzip options to Extract Files... and unzip the setup files into a temporary folder. Open the folder and right mouse click on the Setup.exe and select "Create Desktop Shortcut". Right mouse click on the Desktop shortcut and select Properties. On the Compatibility tab tick the Run in compatibility mode and select Windows 98 Compatibility Layer from the list. Now you can double click the shortcut to install the game. Once the game is installed don't forget to set the Compatibility Mode on the Game itself. See Installing Game. |
