ERIC LINDSTROM NOMINATED FOR AWARD

The Writers Guild have shortlisted Eric Lindstrom and Toby Gard among five nominees for best videogame writing of 2008, reports Variety.com. The pair joined forces to produce Tomb Raider Underworld, with Eric Lindstrom scoring an extra nod for penning the story.

Tomb Raider Underworld is out now across North America and Europe. The Lara Croft-helmed adventure blends exploration, grand scale puzzle solving and combat, taking players on an archaeological journey to the ancient netherworlds of the Mediterranean, Thailand, Mexico, the Arctic Sea and more.

Eidos will soon release Tomb Raider Underworld on Playstation 2, completing a multi-console line-up. The game is already available on Games for Windows, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii and DS. A mobile version of Tomb Raider Underworld has also been released.
