Former Big Breakfast presenter Kelly Brook is reportedly in talks with movie producers to replace Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in Paramount Picture's second Tomb Raider motion picture. Due to begin principal photography next month at Pinewood Studios, Jolie - who is finalising the adoption of a Cambodian baby with husband Billy Bob Thornton - may not want to re-appear in the action adventure sequel despite confirming last year she would resume the role of British aristocrat Lara Croft for a further two episodes.

Kelly Brook is currently preparing to travel to Canada for a starring role opposite Christopher Lambert and Ron Perlman in the Hollywood thriller Absolon which begins shooting in a couple of weeks. Brooks plays a mysterious woman bent of preventing an evil gang from stealing the cure to a deadly plague. No one from either camp were available for comment. More details to follow.
