TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS FEATURES ON GAME INFORMER'S DECEMBER COVER

Game Informer has revealed Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis as the cover story for its December 2026 issue, marking the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise with an examination of the forthcoming reimagining of the original 1996 game. The magazine features a 12-page report based on a visit to Crystal Dynamics, where Game Informer spent several hours playing Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, including a section set in Greece.

The report includes interviews with developers from Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, examining the decision to revisit the original Tomb Raider following the release of Tomb Raider Anniversary in 2007. The article also explores differences between the new version and previous releases, the development teams' use of artificial intelligence tools and connections between Legacy of Atlantis and the forthcoming Tomb Raider Catalyst.

The December issue also contains a six-page retrospective examining the franchise's 30-year history, featuring contributions from Crystal Dynamics.

The cover artwork, created by Tomb Raider franchise art director Brenoch Adams, depicts different versions of Lara Croft from across the series, including the Core Design, Legend, Survivor and current eras. The full cover announcement is available on Game Informer.
