TOMB RAIDER 30TH ANNIVERSARY PARTNERS SHARE MESSAGES AND ARTWORK

Companies and organisations associated with Tomb Raider have begun sharing anniversary messages and artwork across social media to mark 30 years of the franchise. The posts include contributions from partners involved in producing commemorative merchandise, alongside organisations connected to Lara Croft's fictional history.

In January, Crystal Dynamics announced a year-long programme marking the 30th anniversary of Tomb Raider, which debuted in 1996. The programme includes collaborations with companies producing gaming accessories, clothing, collectibles, publications and other merchandise. Participating brands include 8BitDo, Dark Horse, Funko, Loungefly, Tubbz and Upper Deck.

Among those acknowledging the anniversary is Gordonstoun, the Scottish school featured in Lara Croft's original biography written by Core Design. According to the biography, Lara attended Gordonstoun, where she developed an interest in rock climbing and explored the surrounding Scottish Highlands. The school's inclusion connects the anniversary activity with the character's original background.

The anniversary messages are accompanied by artwork and images of commemorative products, reflecting the contributions of participating companies and organisations. An archive of the anniversary posts and artwork published to date is now available, documenting the contributions as Tomb Raider's 30th anniversary programme continues throughout 2026.
