G.I. JOE AND TOMB RAIDER CROSSOVER COMIC RECEIVES SECOND PRINTING

Skybound and Image Comics have announced a second printing of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Tomb Raider #1 following a sellout at the distributor level. The crossover comic, produced in collaboration with Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics, brings together Lara Croft and characters from the G.I. Joe franchise.

The second printing will arrive in comic book shops on 2 December 2026, featuring a new cover illustrated by Annie Wu. The issue will retail for $4.99 and follows the initial release of the first crossover between the two franchises.

The comic is written by Kyle Higgins, with artwork by Elena Casagrande, colours by Alex Guimaraes and lettering by Pat Brosseau. The second printing retains the original creative team and introduces Wu's cover artwork.

The story follows Lara Croft as she travels to Cobra Island in search of a treasure concealed there for decades. She joins forces with Shipwreck, an acquaintance from her past, and several G.I. Joe squads to undertake the expedition. Destro and Baroness are also pursuing the treasure, placing them in opposition to Croft and her allies.

The crossover is part of Skybound and Hasbro's publishing collaboration, which includes G.I. Joe A Real American Hero and titles within the Energon Universe.
