G.I. JOE TOMB RAIDER SIGNING EVENT SET FOR NEW YORK COMIC CON 2026

Hasbro and Skybound Entertainment will host a signing event featuring G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero / Tomb Raider as part of New York Comic Con 2026, which takes place from 8-11 October. The event will be held at Midtown Comics Times Square on Friday 9 October, from 7pm to 9pm local time, as part of the fourth annual Energon Universe group signing.

Attending creators will include Kyle Higgins, Dan Watters, Tom Reilly, Andrea Milana, Jason Howard and Conor Hughes, alongside Energon Universe executive editor Ben Abernathy.

The signing follows the release of the first issue of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero / Tomb Raider, a limited crossover series featuring Lara Croft and characters from G.I. Joe. Published in collaboration with Skybound, Image Comics, Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics, the series is written by Kyle Higgins, with artwork by Elena Casagrande, colours by Alex Guimaraes and lettering by Pat Brosseau.

The story follows Lara Croft as she travels to Cobra Island in search of a treasure hidden there for decades. She works with Shipwreck and members of the G.I. Joe team while Destro and Baroness pursue the same object. The crossover forms part of Tomb Raider 30, a year-long programme marking the franchise's 30th anniversary, with releases planned across gaming, fashion, collectibles, publishing and fine art.

New York Comic Con 2026 runs from 8-11 October. Further information about Hasbro's convention activities is available through the official Hasbro announcement.
