EMBRACER GROUP FEATURES UPCOMING TOMB RAIDER GAMES AT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
[ 24 September 2026 ]
Embracer Group CEO Phil Rogers showcased Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis and Tomb Raider Catalyst during the company's annual general meeting on 24 September 2026. The meeting was held at Varmlands Museum in Karlstad, Sweden, with Rogers presenting a selection of current and upcoming games from across the group.
"I would like to leave you with a glimpse of what ultimately it all comes down to, the games. Some already in the hands of players, others still to come," Rogers said. The presentation included trailer segments from both Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis and Tomb Raider Catalyst.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis draws on the original Tomb Raider, developed by Core Design, and Tomb Raider Anniversary, developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game adds narrative material connecting Lara Croft's first expedition with later periods of her life. The story follows the British adventurer as she travels through Peru, Greece, Egypt and a lost island in search of the scattered fragments of the Scion.
Flying Wild Hog is developing Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics. The game is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027.
Tomb Raider Catalyst is the next mainline instalment in the series and is being co-developed by Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hog and Eidos-Montreal. Set in Northern India, the game follows Lara Croft as she investigates the consequences of a mythical cataclysm that has exposed ancient secrets and reawakened dormant guardian forces.
Tomb Raider Catalyst is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 and is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
