GREECE EXPLORED IN NEW TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS MINI-DOC SERIES

Amazon Game Studios has released a new episode in its mini-documentary series about Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis. The episode examines the development of the game's depiction of Greece and features material from developers Flying Wild Hog and Crystal Dynamics. It includes commentary on the development process alongside additional footage and visuals from the project.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis revisits the events of the original Tomb Raider while expanding its narrative with additional story elements that establish connections between Lara Croft's first expedition and later chapters of her life. Lara's search for the scattered fragments of the Scion, an ancient artefact, takes her across Peru, Greece and Egypt, as well as to an island in the Mediterranean. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game retains elements of the original adventure while introducing updated gameplay systems.

Flying Wild Hog is developing the title in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, with its release scheduled for 12 February 2027. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Three editions will be available: Standard, Deluxe and Collector's. Both the Deluxe and Collector's editions will include 48 hours of early access ahead of the general release.
