TOMB RAIDER LEGEND, ANNIVERSARY AND UNDERWORLD ADDED TO XBOX CLOUD GAMING
[ 3 September 2026 ]
Microsoft has added Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Underworld to Xbox Cloud Gaming as part of its September 2026 expansion. The three Xbox 360 titles can now be streamed by players who own a digital copy and have an eligible Xbox Game Pass subscription in a supported region.
Tomb Raider Legend, released in 2006, follows Lara Croft on a journey across the world in search of an ancient artefact, a pursuit which brings her into contact with figures from her past. The adventure takes Lara through ancient tombs, jungles and snowy mountain ranges, combining platforming and environmental puzzles with combat. Lara can use a grappling hook and other equipment to traverse environments, while physics-based interactions involving water and fire form part of its puzzles and obstacles.
Tomb Raider Anniversary, released in 2007, is a reimagining of Lara Croft's original adventure and centres on her search for the Scion. Built using an enhanced version of the Tomb Raider Legend engine, it revisits locations including the lost city of Atlantis and the pyramids of Egypt while expanding the environments, combat and traversal of the original game. Exploration remains central, with players climbing through large environments, searching hidden areas and solving puzzles while uncovering details concerning Lara's past.
Tomb Raider Underworld, released in 2008, places greater emphasis on environmental exploration as Lara investigates ancient mysteries in locations including the coast of Thailand, the Arctic Sea and the jungles of Mexico. Its levels are structured around multi-stage environmental puzzles, with Lara able to use an expanded range of acrobatic movements and manipulate objects to find alternative routes. The game also introduced equipment including an active sonar map, a multi-purpose grapple and an all-terrain motorbike, alongside a dual-target combat system.
