TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS ENTERS FINAL TUNING AHEAD OF RELEASE

Embracer Group CEO Phil Rogers said Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis has several milestones to complete before its release. Speaking during Embracer Group's Q1 2026/27 interim report presentation, Rogers said the remaining work includes polishing the game, improving performance, playtesting, debugging, quality assurance and final tuning. He also said the development team is working to lock the game's content as soon as possible.

"There's multiple milestones left. As ever with games, there's a level of polish, performance, there's playtesting, all the debug and QA, final tuning. Getting that content locked as soon as possible. This is the pattern we're on now. It's a pattern that world class studios, 4A, Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hogs, and also recently with Eidos Montreal too, this is what these studios do. We work through those milestones step by step," said Rogers.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis reimagines the events of the original Tomb Raider and expands its story with new narrative content that links it to later games in the series. Players travel through Peru, Greece, Egypt and a Mediterranean island in search of the scattered fragments of the Scion, an ancient artefact.

Developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027. It will be available in Standard, Deluxe and Collector's editions, with the Deluxe and Collector's editions including 48 hours of early access.
