NEW TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS RENDER RELEASED AHEAD OF GAMESCOM 2026

Amazon Game Studios has announced that Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will appear at Gamescom 2026. Gamescom will take place in Cologne from 26 to 30 August 2026. The event is one of the largest computer and video games exhibitions and business events for the games industry. Alongside the announcement, Amazon Game Studios released a new render showing Lara Croft escaping the jaws of a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis revisits the events of the original Tomb Raider and expands its story with new narrative content that links it to later games in the series. Players travel through Peru, Greece, Egypt and a Mediterranean island in search of the scattered fragments of the Scion, an ancient artefact. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game combines the original story with updated gameplay systems and additional narrative content.
Developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027. It will be available in Standard, Deluxe and Collector's editions, with the Deluxe and Collector's editions including 48 hours of early access.
