TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS TEAM DISCUSSES LARA CROFT IN NEW WEB SERIES

Flying Wild Hog has announced a new web series featuring members of the development team behind Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, discussing what Lara Croft means to them. The studio announced the series in a post on X, stating that it had asked members of the development team the question, Who is Lara Croft to you? Their responses will be shared over the coming weeks.
The first instalment features Cinematic Director Patryk Kin, who described Lara Croft as "pure, relentless confidence in the face of impossible secrets". The studio concluded that this was "a powerful description of one of gaming's most enduring and influential icons".
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis reimagines the 1996 game Tomb Raider, developed by Core Design, and includes modern graphics, updated gameplay mechanics and expanded narrative elements. The game is developed using Unreal Engine 5. The narrative follows Lara Croft's search for the Scion, an artefact linked to events that take her through Peru, Greece, Egypt and an island shrouded in myth.
The title is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027. Selected editions include up to 48 hours of early access before the standard release date.
