NEW TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS CONCEPT ART SHOWS VILCABAMBA, PERU

Amazon Game Studios has shared a new piece of concept art for Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, showing Lara Croft exploring Vilcabamba, Peru. The image depicts a range of plants and wildlife, with the city of Vilcabamba visible in the distance. The artwork was published on the studio's official X account.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is billed as a reimagining of the original 1996 Tomb Raider video game. It is being developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics. The game includes updated graphics, revised gameplay systems and additional story content while retaining the structure and narrative of the original title developed by Core Design.

Built using Unreal Engine 5, Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis follows Lara Croft as she travels through the jungles of Peru, the crumbling ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt and a mysterious island shrouded in myth in search of the Scion, an artefact of immeasurable power that forms the central focus of the story.

The title is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027. Select editions will include up to 48 hours of early access before the standard release date.
