TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS SHOWCASED IN NEW 4K SCREENSHOTS

Crystal Dynamics has released a new set of official 4K press screenshots for Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, providing a closer look at Lara Croft's return in the upcoming reimagining of the original Tomb Raider. The images show the British adventurer exploring a variety of environments, navigating environmental hazards, interacting with puzzles, and confronting wildlife and other predators encountered during her journey.

Scheduled for release in February 2027, Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis revisits Lara Croft's first adventure with updated visuals, revised gameplay systems, and expanded narrative content. The project retains the original game's overall structure and setting while introducing new elements designed to support the modernised presentation. The game is being developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics and is built using Unreal Engine 5.

Gameplay focuses on exploration across multiple locations, traversal through hazardous environments, and environmental puzzle-solving. The story follows Lara Croft as she searches for fragments of the Scion, an artefact associated with significant power within the Tomb Raider series. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is planned for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
