ELECTRIC SQUARE CONFIRMS SUPPORT ROLE ON TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS
[ 6 May 2026 ]
Electric Square has stated that it contributed development support to Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog on Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, describing the project as a reimagining of Lara Croft's original global debut, and confirmed that the video game will be released in 2026. The post was shared on the company's official LinkedIn page.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is being principally developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, and presents a reworking of Lara Croft's initial adventure using updated visuals built on Unreal Engine 5. The game combines contemporary design approaches with additional content while retaining the tone and atmosphere associated with the original release.
The gameplay involves exploration across varied environments, requiring the use of problem-solving and physical movement to progress through hazards and mechanical challenges. Players encounter hostile wildlife and advance by locating the scattered pieces of the Scion, identified as an artefact of considerable power. The title is scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
