TOMB RAIDER I-III REMASTERED CHALLENGE MODE PATCH 2 NOW AVAILABLE

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Challenge Mode Patch 2 has been released across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. The update includes general fixes to graphics, photomode, and audio systems. Adjustments resolve issues affecting the player character model during movement, missing or incorrect textures, and a spelling error in the user interface. Photomode updates address outfit rendering, clipping, and animation of the character's braid. Audio changes modify sound effects associated with object collection.

Platform-specific changes are also included. On iOS, updates address controller disconnection behaviour, weapon modifiers, enemy types, and weapon drawing when using modern controls. On Android, fixes apply to cloud saves, character clipping, user interface errors, controller performance, and subtitle display. PlayStation versions receive fixes for random crashes and subtitle persistence in Croft Manor, while Xbox includes a correction to a missing water issue in the 40 Fathoms level that prevented progression. On PC, updates resolve issues with New Game+ save functionality, unlocking of Challenge Mode and outfits, outfit reset behaviour, and camera clipping. A further patch is stated to be in development.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered compiles the first three Tomb Raider titles, developed by Core Design, and includes their expansions and secret levels. Players can use updated graphics or switch to the original polygonal visuals at any time. The collection also provides a choice between a modern control scheme and the original tank controls. The collection includes a Challenge Mode, which allows players to replay levels with modifiers and complete objectives to unlock ten additional outfits. These outfits apply gameplay effects to the player character.
